Born in 1962 to legendary actor Peter Finch and writer Yolanda Turnbull, Finch's grandfather (George Ingle-Finch) climbed Everest with Mallory, becoming the first man to use oxygen at high altitude and later inventing the Puffa jacket. After spending his formative years in Jamaica, Finch completed his education in France and Scotland.

Finch started in the movie business in 1982 writing, directing and producing during an apprenticeship with Lord Putnam and later with legendary Hollywood producers Peter Guber and John Peters. As a writer and director, credits include "Priceless Beauty" (Christopher Lambert & Diane Lane), "Where Sleeping Dogs Lie" (Sharon Stone, Tom Sizemore and Dylan McDermott), "Never Ever" (Sandrine Bonnaire, Jean Rochefort). Films produced include "Bad Girls" (Drew Barrymore, Andie McDowell, Madeleine Stowe, Mary Stewart-Masterson), "The Maddening" (Burt Reynolds, Angie Dickinson, Mia Sara), "Spider" (Ralph Fiennes, Gabriel Byrne, Miranda Richardson), 'His Big White Self' (Nick Broomfield), Mike Bassett: England Manager (Ricky Tomlinson)

As an agent, Finch joined the William Morris Agency as Head of International Operations in 1997 and was responsible for working with artists including John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe, Cate Blanchett, Kristin Scott-Thomas, as well as corporate clients including Granada, Carlton, Pearson, and Channel 4. During his tenure, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and "The Weakest Link" were sold by the London office into the US market.

In 2000, Finch formed Artists Independent Management, a London, NY and LA based Management and Production company, which was aquired by Finch & Partners in June 2005. Today the company also includes dedicated departments for Endorsement, Branding, Press and Travel. Clients and advisory board members have included some of the world's leading artists ~ John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe, Harvey Keitel, Anjelica Huston. Brands and projects include Chanel, Armani, LVMh, British Airways, Harvey Nichols amongst others. Magazine profiles on Finch include Harper's & Queen, Tatler, Vogue, Variety and other trade publications and was named one of the Top 10 Best Dressed Men by Vanity Fair magazine in 2005. On an annual basis, Finch hosts a legendary pre-Bafta party, which today has become a fixture in the international entertainment calendar.

Finch continues to sign artists, develop brands and broker endorsement deals. Finch continues to executive produce films including recently critically acclaimed 'Ghosts' directed by Nick Broomfield, 'Ruby Red Chequer' starring Bob Hoskins, directed by Jan Dunn and 'Camille' starring Sienna Miller & James Franco. New films include 'Battle for Haditha' premiering at Toronto and San Sebastian film festivals, 'Lunatic at Large' by Jim Thompson and Stanley Kubric with Chris Palmer directing.
